Cork City FC is delighted to launch our new Red adidas Away kit for the 2020 season.
A colour that is synonymous with Cork, red has featured in many of the clubs kits down through the years, including memorable designs like the 1990/1991 third shirt made by adidas (pictured below on Daire O'Connor)
The new red/white shirt design features a bold graphic print all over, with the 3 Stripes running down the sides from the armpit. An overlap collar completes the look. Along with a tonal white/red club crest, our main sponsors UCC feature on the front of the shirt once again while The Mardyke Arena sits on the back of the shirt.
Although there was enormous success with the 2019 #BackToBlack Away jersey, a return to red was always in the plans for the 2020 season and no doubt the new away shirt will prove to be very popular once again.
The shirt will be used right across the club, from our underage academy teams, right up to Men's & Women's Senior teams. It will be worn for the first time this Friday 21st February as we travel to Tallaght to face Shamrock Rovers in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
The club will make further announcements in the coming weeks with details & release dates.
