Supporter Liaison Officer

A Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) provides a formal link between supporters and their football club, advocating for the best possible match night experience at home and away games and recognising the importance of fans to the Beautiful Game.

Developed originally in Germany, the role was introduced to European football by UEFA and since included in FAI licensing requirements. SLOs are not part of security activities; instead, they seek to build trusting and respectful relations with all key stakeholders by liaising with all supporters.

The Cork City FC SLO aims to ensure that all supporters have an enjoyable experience when they visit Turner’s Cross on match nights.

Our SLO is happy to advise supporters around match night information, away travel and raise any issues that are of concern to supporters with the club / board as appropriate.
