Cork City Women’s manager Danny Murphy commented: “Women’s football is the fastest growing sport around and we are looking to make sure that Cork City is at the forefront of that. Myself and the club have discussed what is needed to build things up over the coming months, and we are keen to get more people involved. There are a number of opportunities available, with roles to suit a variety of skill sets, so I would encourage people to consider getting involved and be part of what we are building here.”

Cork City Chairman Declan Carey commented: “When Danny came on board last month, we had a number of discussions about what was needed to build up the women’s side of the club. There is already excellent work being done, our academy teams are doing really well, but the challenge is to bring that on another level. We have discussed the matter in detail, and we are now keen to recruit like-minded people to help us to grow.”

Those interested in applying can email womens-team-application@corkcityfc.ie with a cover letter and a short CV detailing any relevant experience.
