City to face Longford Town in FAI Cup

The draw for the FAI Cup took place today at FAI HQ in Abbotstown. Cork City were drawn at home to Longford Town in the first round. The match will take place on Tuesday, August 11 at 7.45pm. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the format of the FAI Cup was revised to only include League of Ireland teams. All 19 clubs will be involved in the draw with three fixtures drawn out and the remaining 13 clubs received byes. First Round: Finn Harps V St. Patrick's Athletic Dundalk V Waterford Cork City V Longford Town (Tuesday, August 11 at 7.45pm).
