City vs Longford - Back to School Offer & Competition!

Cork City FC has launched details of a prize offering schools or schoolboy/schoolgirl soccer clubs a chance to train with a player at their own premises.  The winning club will also act as a guard of honour for the Cork City FC team when they take to the pitch at Turner’s Cross on Friday, August 30th.

The club takes on Longford Town at home which coincides with the first week back at school.  To mark the occasion, Cork City FC is offering schools and schoolboy/schoolgirl soccer clubs a discount for groups of 10 or more.  Every club or school that purchases tickets will then be automatically entered into a draw for the prize.

Community and Academy Coordinator at Cork City FC, Erika Ní Thuama said:  “Coming to a home game at Turner’s Cross is a really exciting opportunity for any young soccer fan.  We want to mark the return to school with an end of summer special offer for schoolboys and girls to come to the match.  We wanted to add to the excitement by offering one club or school a chance to welcome a player to one of their training sessions and learn some invaluable tips on getting the best out of their training.  We know how important it is to develop players’ skills at an early age and we are delighted to offer this unique opportunity to a school club in Cork.”

Clubs can express their interest online:  https://forms.office.com/e/R62dryquB6

Each request will be vetted before a discount code is sent to the club or school.  They can then purchase the tickets online and these will be emailed to the club prior to the game.

Under 16s need to be accompanied to the game by an adult.

The winner of the prize will be contacted directly by Cork City FC.
