The Munster Football Association & Cork City FC have joined forces for this current project in a hope to find a suitor for the naming rights of Turner’s Cross Stadium.
Speaking on behalf of the Munster Football Association, Peter Harrington had the following to say: “We are delighted to be working alongside Cork City FC for this exciting project. It is something that we have been looking at for a while and believe it should be a major attraction for potential parties. The proceeds from such an agreement will go towards the maintenance, upkeep, and improvements we are looking to make to the stadium.”
Commenting on behalf of Cork City FC, Commercial and Marketing Manager Paul Deasy expressed the following: “This has been something that has been in the works for quite a while. When we sat down with the MFA at the end of last year and again at the beginning of this year, the subject was broached further and we both decided to move forward with this exciting opportunity. This is a fantastic opportunity for any business or entity to garner huge exposure from one of Ireland’s best known stadiums.
