The League of Ireland Department has today confirmed two fixture changes for Cork City FC in the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division, due to works needed on the pitch at Turner’s Cross.
This will see City’s two upcoming fixtures, which had been scheduled for Turner’s Cross, played away from home, with the corresponding fixtures later in the year to be played at Turner’s Cross.
- Cork City v Longford Town*, originally scheduled to take place at Turner’s Cross on Friday, April 19 at 19:45, will now take place at Bishopsgate on Saturday, April 20 at 19:30.
- Cork City v Finn Harps, originally scheduled at Turner’s Cross on Friday, 26 April, 2024 at 19:45 will now take place at Finn Park on Friday, April 26 at 18:00. (this kick-off is subject to revert to the original 19:45 kick-off dependant on floodlight maintenance at Finn Park)
- The SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division game between Cork City and DLR Waves, which had originally been scheduled to take place at Turner’s Cross on Saturday, 13 April, took place on the same date at the UCD Bowl. This fixture reversal means that City face DLR Waves at home on the 28th of September instead.
*: Supporters who have already purchased tickets for the Longford Town game will receive an email shortly via our ticketing platform.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of our supporters with regard to these changes, and will advise of any further relevant information in due course.
