FORAS Audit & Compliance Committee - Applications

At the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Friends of the Rebel Army Society (FORAS) members voted to create a new Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee. The Board of Management of FORAS are now inviting suitable volunteers to apply for a role on the new committee. If you are interested in joining the committee please email your CV to info@forastrust.ie. The closing date for applications is 30 November 2021.

Requirements
Board or audit committee experience is desirable. Applicants should have relevant experience in accounting, compliance, corporate governance or finance.

Duties
The committee will have oversight of the company’s financial affairs, controls and governance structures. The committee shall work with, and advise, the Board of Management and Key Management Personnel to ensure the society’s financial affairs are in order. The committee will provide an annual report to FORAS members.
