Cork City FC are delighted to announce the signing of Freddie Anderson, on loan from Stoke City until the end of the 2025 Season.
The 18-year-old defender, who featured for Stoke against City at Turner’s Cross last July, arrives on Leeside after a spell away with the USA’s U20 side.
Speaking after signing for City, Anderson said: I’m just delighted to have finally signed!
“I’m really happy to be given such a great opportunity to play for such a great and big club like Cork City.”
City boss Tim Clancy said: “Freddie is a very impressive young defender, who we obviously got a close look at in last summer’s friendly. It’s another deal that we have been working on for a while, so to finally get it done is great, and it’s brilliant that we have him for the full season.”
Freddie will wear the number 23 jersey.
