Cork City FC can confirm that the club has reached an agreement for Harry Nevin to join Preston North End.
The Ireland Under 16 international joined City’s Under 15 side from Douglas Hall, also featuring at Under 17 level last season, before making the step-up to the Under 17s on a full-time basis this season.
City’s Head of Academy, Colin Healy, commented: “Harry has done very well in the time he has been with our academy. There has been a long-standing interest in him from Preston and he has been over to them a few times. With the way he has performed over the last eighteen months or so, both for us and at international level, that interest has only intensified. We wish Harry the very best of luck for the future.”
