Matthew Coughlan appointed Sponsorship, Merchandise and Events Manager

Cork City FC are very pleased to announce a new addition to the club’s administrative staff.

Matthew Coughlan has joined the club as Sponsorship, Merchandise and Events Manager. He will work alongside Commercial Manager Anthony O’Sullivan in the area of sponsorship, along with key focus on the running of events and promoting the Cork City FC brand and merchandise. 

Matthew said he was looking forward to getting started, saying: “I grew up going to watch City at Turner’s Cross and have just moved back to Cork, so I am really excited to be joining the club and working alongside everybody There is great interest in the club, and the league in general, right now. There is so much good work going on at the club, from the men’s team, to the women’s team, to the academy, the community side of things and so much more. I am looking forward now to getting out and about, meeting people and playing my part in the continued growth of the club.”

Cork City FC owner Dermot Usher welcomed Matthew on board, commenting: “Matthew joins us having worked with some of the biggest brands in Ireland, as well as having an affinity to the club growing up. As we look to build the business side of the club and increase our revenue streams, I have confidence that he will be able help us achieve our targets. ”
