Trish Fennelly appointed WU19 Manager!

We are delighted to announce that Trish Fennelly has been appointed manager of our Women’s Under 19 side for the 2024 Season.

Trish has a wealth of experience in the League of Ireland, having played for a number of clubs including City, and understands the requirements for young players looking to progress into first team football.

Having coached last year as part of the Women’s Under 17 backroom team, Trish understands the goals of the club, and is excited to get the season underway: “I’m really looking forward to working with the team this year. They are a bunch of amazingly talented and hard working girls, and I’m hoping I can help them to develop their talent even further.

This is a big opportunity for me and it’s something I am really excited about. It’s a huge honour to manage a Cork City team, and I can’t wait for the season to get going this weekend!”

Trish’s backroom team will include Josh Cooney, Derek Daniels, Orla O’Regan & Eoin Kelly.

The EA Sports LOI Academy season kicks off this weekend, with the WU19s away to Cobh Ramblers, while Craig Robinson’s Women’s Under 17 side also face Cobh Ramblers, in Bishopstown.
