Cork City FC are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Conor Brann.
The 21-year-old keeper featured for Salthill Devon, Athlone Town, Limerick & Galway United’s underage sides, before heading to Swindon in 2022. He returns to Ireland ahead of the 2025 Season, becoming City’s fourth new signing of the offseason so far.
Speaking in Bishopstown, Brann said: “I’m buzzing to be here. The size and stature of this club - it’s one of the biggest in Ireland. It’s good to be here. Turner’s Cross is a great place to play, and I can’t wait to get going.”
City boss Tim Clancy said: “I’m very pleased to have Conor on board for 2025. “He came in to train with us towards the end of last season, and we were very pleased with what we saw from him. We got a chance to have a good look at him, and he got to know the squad and the set-up, so we are very pleased to have him on board. He’s a tall, commanding goalkeeper, and that’s exactly what we were looking for.”
“With the announcement of Conor & Tein’s signings over the last couple of days, we have two really high quality goalkeepers that will push each other and challenge for that number one spot.”
