City launch Down Syndrome Futsal team!

On Thursday, Cork City FC launched our first ever Down Syndrome Futsal team!

The team trained for the first time at Bishopstown GAA Hall, and will go on to represent Cork City in blitzes against other League of Ireland teams throughout the year.

We would like to thank everyone that attended the first training session, it was great to see so many enthusiastic players and we are looking forward to future sessions!

We would also be delighted to welcome others - anyone aged 16+ with down syndrome is open to join us at any time.
