Harry Nevin Signs New Contract!

Harry Nevin Signs New Contract!

Cork City FC are pleased to confirm that Harry Nevin has agreed terms on a new contract ahead of the 2025 Season.

The defender returned to City ahead of the start of 2024, making 17 league appearances before having his season cut short due to injury in the summer.

Speaking this afternoon City boss Tim Clancy said: Harry had been doing well with us last season, until the injury ruled him out for a lengthy spell. He’s recovering from that well, and was one of the players we were keen to get tied down for 2025.

He’s another local lad who gives his all for the shirt and knows what it means to play for City. He’s still only 20, but we know he is a player with a lot of potential and plenty of ability, so it is a big season for both Harry and the club, and we can’t wait to have him back fitter than ever.

The 20-year-old was pleased to extend his stay at the club, saying: It’s good to put pen to paper. It was a tough season for me last year with the injury, I didn’t get to prove myself as much as I wanted to, so I’m glad to have another chance. It will be difficult next season, but I’m ready to push on."
