Malik Dijksteel signs new contract!

Cork City FC are delighted to announce that Malik Dijksteel has signed a new contract for the 2025 Season.

The winger, who signed for the club in 2023, made 17 league appearances last season, scoring twice as City sealed their return to the Premier Division.

Speaking ahead of the announcement, Dijksteel said: “I’m delighted to have signed a new deal for 2025.

I have loved my time so far at the club, so it was a very easy decision to make! I’ve enjoyed working under Tim & the coaching staff this year, and I’m already looking forward to the new season.”

City boss Tim Clancy was very happy to get the deal done, saying: “We are delighted to extend Malik’s deal. We have only seen the tip of the iceberg in how good he can be, and I’m really excited to see him develop and improve next season in the Premier Division.”
