Team news ahead of Dundalk match

Cork City are back in home league action on Tuesday night, as they take on old foes Dundalk at Turner's Cross. It will be the second meeting of the sides this season, after the Louth side ran out 3-0 winners at Oriel Park in February. It will be Colin Healy's first time stepping out at Turner's Cross as interim head coach of City, and he spoke to the media in Bishopstown on Sunday ahead of the game: "It happened very quickly. The board got onto me and asked if I'd take over until the end of the season. It's something that I always wanted to do anyway, but I'm here now, and the work has started. We've got Dundalk on Tuesday night, which will be a very difficult match, so the players will have to be up for it. I want the players to give everything for the club, and to give everything for themselves. We're down at the bottom of the table, and we're there for a reason. Let's not kid ourselves, things haven't been good enough. We need to change that. As a team, we need everybody to give everything they've got when they step out onto that pitch. It's up to me and the coaching staff to get the best out of these players now, and that's what we're going to do." Cory Galvin also spoke to the media on Sunday, after making his first start in over two months in against Bohemians last week: "I got injured against Waterford, so I was out for 6 weeks, and then haven't featured for the last few weeks, so it was pleasing to play against Bohemians. We obviously didn't have a positive result the other night, we gave away cheap goals but I thought at times we played well. We have to move on now, and get ready for Dundalk on Tuesday night. We're well aware of the position we're in. There are 12 points to play for, but we'll focus on Dundalk first. That's how we have to look at it. We're looking at Dundalk, and we want to get three points. They're at the other end of the table, but look, there are three points up for grabs, its eleven men against eleven men - it's a game of football over 90 minutes, so we will go and compete to try and get a result." Healy has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, and will once again have a full squad to choose from, with Cian Coleman returning after missing Friday's match through suspension.
